I was looking at words in english and found a list of words I didn’t know were borrowed from Asian languages.

Kowtow
Pidgin
Tycoon
Monsoon
Typhoon
Rickshaw
Chi
Soy
Tea
boondock
well, some of those should have been obvious, but I didn’t know either the actual definition, or they are just the products that I knew are from that region and didn’t think about the name coming from there.
Funny Chi and Tea are on the list. As I understand it “Chi” is tea. Now that I know this is bugs me when people order “Chi Tea” aka Tea Tea lol. Kind of like saying PIN Number or ATM Machine but I digress 🙂
